Position Summary

We are seeking detail oriented and flexible individuals to join our team as a Manufacturing Worker. We have positions in Assembly, Injection Molding, Fabrication, Powder Coating, Material Handling and Warehouse. The individual will report to the manager of the department.

These positions are non-exempt, union positions and membership to union is required after 30 days of employment.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Read, understand, and use process instructions for work projects.
  • Assemble components and parts using different tools and methods, including hand, electric, and air tools. 
  • Work independently or as part of a team. 
  • Enter and retrieve information from computers. 
  • Follow all safety protocols and compliance regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Use the appropriate tools or machines and processes to manufacture products that meet required specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding questions specific to processes and manufacturing status. 
  • Lift an average of 20 pounds of weight and move approximately 20 feet. 
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor. 

Education Requirements and Skills

  • High school diploma or General Education Development Diploma (GED), additional education is a plus.
  • Ability to communicate in English with other personnel.
  • Ability to read and understand general documents such as work instructions, manuals, and job packages.
  • Understanding of basic technologies and basic computer skills. Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus. (Enterprise Resource Planning)
  • Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with the physical stamina and ability to lift and move objects as needed (20 pounds average).
  • Time management skills.
  • Attention to detail
  • For Material Handling and Shipping/Receiving positions a Forklift certification or Pallet jack certification is a plus.
  • For Fabrication Workers a Welding Certification is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of standing or walking
  • Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds
  • Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facility
  • Must be able to stand, crawl, bend, stretch, lay and squat in order to maintain equipment
  • Must be able to occasionally withstand high temperatures
