Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and general maintenance of equipment, facilities, and systems. This role requires a strong technical background, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Primary Responsibilities

  •          Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical, lubrication, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and air handling systems.
  •          Inspect and troubleshoot equipment using schematic diagrams to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
  •          Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure the longevity of equipment and facilities.
  •          Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns to prevent or lessen production downtime
  •          Maintain records of repairs, maintenance schedules, safety inspections and checks.
  •         Follow safety procedures and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  •          Work with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs, installations and modifications.
  •          Assist in facility improvements and upgrades as needed.

Required Skills & Abilities

  •         Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
  •         Knowledge of electrical schematic diagrams for pneumatic, hydraulic, HVAC, and mechanical and lubricating systems.
  •         Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  •         Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in proper use of power tools.
  •         Physical stamina to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various environments.
  •         Good communication and teamwork skills.
  •         Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
  •         Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  •         OSHA or other safety-related certifications.

Education and Experience

·         High school diploma or GED

Physical Requirement

  •   Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  •   Prolonged periods of standing or walking.
  •  Must be able to lift up-to 50 pounds at a time.
  •   Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facility.
  •   Must be able to quickly traverse manufacturing areas.
  •   Must be able to stand, bend, crawl, stretch, lay, and squat to unload freight.
  •   Must be able to occasionally withstand high and low temperatures if applicable
