Rosco & Mobileye Shield+ Featured on ABC 7 News & Named Best New Product at BusCon 2015

This week, Rosco exhibited at BusCon 2015. As one of the largest bus conventions in North America, BusCon attracts representatives from the public transit, paratransit, private charters, tour, corporate, intercity, senior, and university transit sectors. 
 
This year, the Mobileye Shield+ System was awarded the Certificate of Recognition for "Best New Product" at BusCon! Rosco showcased the Mobileye Shield+ technology in the booth as well as on the Vision Quest Bus.

The  Mobileye Shield+ system is the latest technological advancement for preventing collisions between vehicles and vulnerable road users (VRUs), including pedestrians and cyclists. The dynamic bus operating conditions on congested urban streets demand the highest level of visibility when operating the bus and especially when approaching VRUs in complex bus turning patterns. Pedestrians and cyclists often are not seen by the driver due to the large blind spots when the bus is making turns on tight, busy city streets.
