Rosco at BusCon/Indy to Exhibit and Participate in the Ride & Drive Event with the Vision Quest Bus Featuring Mobileye Shield+ Technology

QUEENS, NY--(Marketwired - September 29, 2015) - Rosco, an automotive vision safety leader in backup camera systems, interior/exterior mirrors and automotive camera recording, is heading to Indianapolis, Indiana this week to exhibit at BusCon 2015! Rosco will be showcasing all of their existing and new technologies at booth #1435.

BusCon is one of the largest bus conventions in North America, bringing together representatives from public transit, paratransit, private charters, tour, corporate, intercity, senior and university transit industries.

BusCon offers many educational sessions including their much anticipated Ride & Drive event. The Ride & Drive gives attendees the opportunity to experience firsthand, the latest vehicle technology the industry has to offer -- Rosco will be participating with the Vision Quest Bus equipped with the Mobileye Shield+ Technology.

The Mobileye Shield+ system is the latest technological advancement for preventing collisions between vehicles and vulnerable road users (VRUs), including pedestrians and cyclists. The dynamic operating conditions on congested urban streets demand the highest level of visibility when operating the bus and especially when approaching VRUs in complex bus turning patterns. Pedestrians and cyclists often are not seen by the driver due to the large blind spots when the bus is making turns on tight, busy city streets.

The Mobileye Shield+ Technology is a multi-vision-sensor solution that alerts drivers when VRUs are in the bus's blind spots or danger zones. The unique side-sensing feature alerts the operator to pedestrians and cyclists in the bus' path before an incident occurs, giving the operator time to react and mitigate the collision.
