Position Summary
Rosco is seeking individuals to fill the role of Assembler in our factory. Our Assemblers read blueprints, help manufacture a variety of mirrors and visors which are used on various vehicles including buses, semi-trucks, box trucks, and construction vehicles.
Primary Responsibilities
- Follow verbal instructions to assemble mirror components, arms, and harnesses for fleet vehicles and trucks. This includes assembly, riveting, material movement and other.
- Communicate to team lead, supervisor, or manager when components are damaged or unusable.
- Be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Be able to reference drawings provided by the engineering department and follow assembly instructions based on samples.
- Use production Quality checklists as part of our tracking process.
- Use Epicor to log jobs and record labor hours and product completions.
Education Requirements and Skills
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English
- Must be punctual and reliable to arrive on time as scheduled
- Basic computer skills are helpful
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. at a time
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the facility
- Must be able to quickly traverse manufacturing areas quickly and safely
- Must be able to stand, bend, crawl, stretch, lay and squat
- Must be able to occasionally withstand both high and low temperatures
